Of the 7 players drafted last year, only
2 1 will likely be available to play come week 1 of the regular season this year. Given the success of the 2011 draft class and the potential that the 2013 class has shown, one can't be too devastated about how the 2012 class has panned out thus far, but here's what it looks like as of today:
4th Round: Joe Looney - active
Trent Robinson - cut before 2013 season
The only potential standout I see worth keeping down the road might be Cam Johnson, and that's if he performs in the regular season the way he has in the preseason. I'm not entirely sold on LMJ as an every down back and it's hard to see Looney starting on the O-line unless someone goes down with an injury. I think the 49ers will eventually lose patience with Fleming's habitual injuries and release him at some point this year. Your thoughts?
