  • LB NaVorro Bowman sacked and stripped Bradford and the loose ball was recovered by DT Tony Jerod-Eddie. It marked the 2ndFF of the season and 3rd career FF for Bowman and the first-career FR for Jerod-Eddie. RB Anthony Dixon scored on a 1-yd. TD run on the ensuing drive.

Applying The Pressure

  • The 49ers defense registered 5.0 sacks on Rams QB Sam Bradford. This marks the first time the 49ers defense notched 5.0 sacks-or-more in a game since 11/25/12 at NO (5.0 sacks of QB Drew Brees).
  • LB NaVorro Bowman led the way with 2.0 sacks, marking his first-career multi-sack game. He now has 2.0 sacks on the season and 6.0 in his career.
  • LB Ahmad Brooks tallied 1.5 sacks, giving him 2.5 sacks on the season and 29.0 for his career.
  • DL Glenn Dorsey registered 1.0 sack. He now has 2.0 sacks on the season and 6.0 for his career.
  • DT Justin Smith added 0.5 sack, his first of the season. Smith now has 76.5 sacks in his career.
