The NFL has made it clear that QB's are fair game if they run the Read/Option. Harbaughs pleas have fallen on deaf ears. The judgement has been made to the consternation of our coach. So does this mean that Kapernick (and the other R/O QB's) will have to become more like 'traditional' pocket passers? To me I think it probably does. If it's true I'll probably be a little glad since I want Kap to have a long and injury-free career, but what does it mean to our offense? Will it be more Gore, more normal play-actions, more Vernon Davis/Patton, will nothing change, or will we run it even more? To me, I'm guessing we'll only run Kap out of it maybe 2-3 times per game, or maybe just only on goal lines or crucial 3rd/4th downs.
