Right now Kyle Williams (KW) is the only active-roster wide-receiver who has caught passes for the niners before. Obviously there is a lot riding on the performance and development of our receivers. We are assuming Boldin is good (like last year), but clearly more is need if we are to thrive and prosper.
Following a May achilles injury, there is no certainty that Crabtree will play this year. We need someone to step up. In a sense, this seems like the biggest unknown for the team this year. Is this the year that Williams makes the step from a journeyman 3-4 receiver to the next Victor Cruz? Is Quinton Patton (the General) a 4th round steal and the fall miracle we perhaps desperately need? Aside from sticking with the Dolphins as an undrafted free-agent from Fresno State, what can Marlon Moore do?
Here is an opportunity to win fame and fortune and demonstrate your prediction ability and understanding of the 49ers. All you do is list receivers and your prediction of: snaps on offense, catches, and total yards. Let's include VD and Vance M. The suggested canonical order to is shown here. Comments and discussion are also welcome.
