Eric Branch tweeted out some information that was at least a little bit interesting:
#49ers LB Patrick Willis isn't wearing a cast or brace on broken right hand in warmups. Presumably, it's taped under his glove.

Earlier this week, Willis was seen at practice without an sort of contraption on his hand. Later in the week, Willis tweeted out a picture from Instagram in which he was thrusting his hand into a tub of rice.
As it currently stands, all indications are that he is good to go for the 49ers season opener against the Packers. The question will be how much we see of Willis. Last year, particularly in the season opener, the 49ers played a lot of their dime defense, with NaVorro Bowman handling a lot of the single linebacker role. If the 49ers elect to use a similar defensive alignment today, it would be an interesting way to keep Willis from exposing his hand too much.
We'll keep an eye on Willis throughout the game to see just how the 49ers decide to use him.
