Seahawks-Saints second half thread

Harry How

That first half thread filled up pretty quickly, so here's another thread. The Saints showed some things early, but couldn't get points on the board, and now they find themselves down 16-0 at halftime. Oh, and the Seahawks get the ball to start the second half. So much for the Saints.

The Seahawks will host the NFC Championship Game next week, which means the winner of Sunday's 49ers-Panthers game will be heading to the Pacific Northwest next weekend. The 49ers and Panthers are two of the few teams in the NFL that are built to beat the Seahawks. Both teams would face a tough game at CenturyLink Field, but if anybody could have some added measure of confidence, I think it's those two. Both teams have extremely physical defenses, and the kind of run game that can potential wear down the physical Seahawks defense. Given the repetitious use of the word physical, I think you know the NFC title game will be just a little bit physical.

We'll have a new thread in a couple hours for the start of Patriots-Colts. In the meantime, let's see if the Saints can put anything together in the second half to make this game remotely interesting.
