Golden Nuggets: Bring on the Panthers!

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Sunday, January 12th, 2014 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

So the New Orleans Saints didn't beat the Seattle Seahawks. Candlestick Park won't be getting another game to add to the mystique and luster of the place, but honestly, who needs that anyway? The San Francisco 49ers can beat the Seattle team that showed up against the Saints on Saturday and I definitely stand by that.

I'm honestly more intimidated by the Carolina Panthers right now. That's the Panthers team who the 49ers are set to play in a matter of hours. I have full confidence in the 49ers in the end but I'm definitely a bit nervous. I think we're all going to have quite a few more gray hairs once this one is over because I don't foresee a blowout in either direction.

Either way, we're going to jump right into your links for the day -- of which there are few, as usual on gamedays. Go Niners!
