NO Excuse Monday...Make the Pledge

I am very hopeful that my beloved team goes the distance on this most Epic road to the Super Bowl and that this Sunday will be the Final Test to show worthiness....BUT, If our Mighty Men come up short Sunday:

Who wants to join me in making the pledge not to make ANY excuses for 1 week following the game?

Both teams are clearly worthy rivals and I am sure a 'bad" call or some flukey bounce could easily decide the game...but I believe that focusing on the "luck" aspect dis-respects the effort of both teams and brings down the quality of game discussion. It also makes the fanbase look like a bunch of whiners...no matter how much truth there is.

If Niners Lose, I will (in the cyber blog sense) shake the opposing team's hand and wish them luck representing our Division and our Conference in the Super Bowl.

I write this in the spirit of Patrick Willis' recent interview where he said if the Niners lost, he would wish them luck.
