I just remembered that Cox actually played in two games for Seattle this season (a 12/15 win at NYG, and a 12/22 loss to AZ). This is wishful thinking, but perhaps he can provide some shred of info that could benefit SF's offense? Perhaps not since SF knows Seattle's defensive schemes/personnel probably better than any other team (not to mention that Cox only played 5 snaps against NYG and 6 against AZ). We signed him back because we actually needed him for the Green Bay game, not because we needed any intelligence on Seattle. Though, I have to think that the coaching staff gave it some thought. Maybe a tidbit here or there or a subtle tendency?
Any advantage, no matter how small, could make a huge difference on Sunday. I guess I should just hope that Cox brings his "A" game on Sunday, but I couldn't help but throw out this question. Well, what do you all think?
