Golden Nuggets: Starting to get nervous

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Friday, January 17th, 2013 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

Good morning ladies and gents ... I gotta say, I'm nearing the point of critical mass when it comes to nervousness for this weekend's game. It's not necessarily the Seattle Seahawks in particular, it's more about the San Francisco 49ers beating themselves. There's nothing more frustrating then a team coming out and shooting itself in the foot like the 49ers did last year. That was awful to watch, especially when a clearly inferior Baltimore Ravens team took away our Lombardi.

The Seahawks are somewhat more worthy than the Ravens, though. Still, I feel like I almost want the 49ers to win just to shut the Seattle fans up about their home field advantage as much as I want them to win because ... they're the 49ers. I still don't think this is a "rivalry" so much as I've just found Seahawks fans to be among the most delusional in the league. The team itself really doesn't bother me, honestly. Is that weird? It's probably weird.

Onto the links.
