Golden Nuggets: Let's do this

Sunday, January 19th, 2014 edition of the Golden Nuggets, a daily compilation of San Francisco 49ers links from around the Internet.

OK, I feel like I needed to get that out of my system. The San Francisco 49ers are set to take on the Seattle Seahawks in what the kids are calling an "NFC Championship" game. From all the hype lately, it seems more like a giant [site decorum]-talking contest. I'm honestly OK with either one.

I have to work an hour and a half into the game, which really, really sucks. Hopefully though, the 49ers enter the game and just start dominating from the very beginning. If they could just go ahead and have this one wrapped up by halftime before I start working, that would be swell. Do you hear me, 49ers? This is your chance to be swell.

Anyway ... I don't know how I feel about this game. If they lose, I'm sure I won't be able to use the Internet for a couple weeks as the collective "oh my God we finally did something" chant from Seattle fans might actually bring down the infrastructure itself. If they win ... well. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Onto the links, of which there are few, as usual on gamedays.
