All week been defending Kap as friends mock and joke when they see Kap wearing a sideways hat, earphones, and fill in the blank. He can't throw in the pocket, he has some serious flaws, he's been getting lucky going back to GB cornerback dropping that pick. Hell even Joe Montana chimed in earlier in the week stating what we were all afraid to say.
Well time for Kap to grow up this offseason after this second year in a row heartbreaking loss due to a failure so close to the endzone. Instead of parading around in red suits at the Espys, posing naked for ESPN, messing around at the Playboy mansion, and working out to become a spokesperson for MusclePharm...time to become a man. I can't blame him for doing all these things, as sure many of us would do the same. But now its time to put such boyish things away and realize that men don't wear hats to the side and everything that goes along with that. Be a man and get serious about not only being an incredible athlete but an above average QB in the game of football. He owes it to people like Patrick Willis and Navarro Bowman that again and again bailed this O out in these playoffs.
Maybe then when faced with the most crucial of plays against a serious D, a pass to Crabtree in the corner will not be the only way to go. I mean seriously the Super Bowl and now in the NFC championship. Greg Roman leaving for something else surely might be a positive thing, as maybe someone new to help Kap transform into a man might be a step in the right direction.
Where is Mike Singletary on the coaching staff when you need him, as I'd pay anything for Mike to get Kap in a a room and say to him "damn boy, will you grow the f up....be a man...get serious and study the damn playbook so you can read defenses." I really hope someone gets a hold of Kap and tells him that he needs to grow up now and learn how to become a QB. Because if team gets to the end again next year and falls cause Kap tries Crabtree again in the corner and fails...now that is just gonna cement him as an all time joke.
