I got into New York City yesterday, and will be sticking around town until Saturday. I'm a short ride away down in DC, and while I have no interest in this year's Super Bowl (well, no non-gambling interest), I wanted to check things out. Last year was mostly work, and little play. This year, I'm able to chat with some folks, check a few things out, and generally have a good time.
Last night, I made it to Jay Glazer's party and the highlight was meeting Ronnie Lott! Tonight I'm headed to Ron Jaworski's charity cigar party, and I'm going to follow up with him on his Kaepernick comments earlier this year. He has been effusive in his praise of the 49ers quarterback, and I want to see what he has to say about Kap after the season that was.
I'll have more on all that later, but in the meantime, I saw an interesting tweet this afternoon.
@Woods49ers @NinersNation had a friend ask me if I would trade our entire draft for Adrian Peterson. I said no. Crazy?

I've actually had several tweets from people inquiring about a move for Adrian Peterson. I see no way anything like this happens given the haul it would require, and the fact that the 49ers are already incredibly deep at running back.
However, it did get me thinking. What would be the craziest move you'd make this offseason, if you were at the helm. Would you make a big trade up to get one of the top receivers or cornerbacks? Would you go overboard and make a deal for a big name receiver? Would you cut a lot of big veteran salaries to get the cap in order for signing the current crop of young guys, and then hope for the best from draft picks?
What's your crazy, maybe even irrational 49ers transaction(s) you would making in the coming offseason?
