Will Jerry Rice challenge Quinton Patton to "The Hill"?

Earlier in the day today I was reading What's the Craziest thing you would do this offseason? As I was reading, I read about LMJ's tween and read a reference to A.J. Jenkins. I checked out twitter (I follow LaMichael James) and as I was reading the responses my warped mind came up with a question.

What would happen if Quinton Patton was challenged like A.J. Jenkins was?

I decided to post a rare tweet.

My intention was to see if Fooch would maybe generate some discussion in the future. I had no idea that what happened next would happen.

Quinton Patton retweeted this almost immediately.

Many articles over the past year have pointed out how much Patton likes to challenge himself and make himself better. He has already said he will work out with Kaepernick. This is a great thing, especially for the QB to WR chemistry that the best duos have. That doesn't seem to be enough of a challenge though.

He is willing to challenge the greatest of all time to run a hill that most of us would throw up at just watching.

As most in Niner Nation know, I am a big Quinton Patton fan. I will sing his praises whenever given the chance. Jerry Rice is the greatest of all time, and a boyhood hero for me. I loved his work ethic, his willingness to do whatever was necessary. I see these elements in Quinton Patton as well, and is one of the reasons that I not only like him, but encourage the Battlewagon whenever I get the chance.

I ask all of those on the Battlewagon to retweet this tweet so that Jerry Rice will know how important this is. I am hoping that Jerry Rice will challenge Quinton Patton to The Hill. I would ask that all 49er fans also encourage Jerry to do this.

And Quinton, you made my day when you retweeted this. You are willing to work hard and do what it takes to become a champion. You have earned a life-long fan.

This is a FanPost and does not necessarily reflect the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors. It does reflect the views of this particular fan though, which is as important as the views of Niners Nation's writers or editors.
