NFL playoff schedule 2014: Saints-Eagles wraps up Wild Card Saturday

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

We break down the first NFC wild card matchup between the Saints and Eagles. We've also got an open thread for discussion.

That was certainly a wild one! The Indianapolis Colts put together an all-time comeback to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs 45-44. Their second round opponent will be determined by tomorrow's Chargers-Bengals game. If the Chargers win, the Colts face the Patriots. If the Bengals win, the Colts face the Broncos.

Day one of the playoffs wraps with the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the New Orleans Saints. The game kicks off 5:10 p.m. on NBC. If you're looking for a live online stream of the game, check out NBC Sports SNF All Access.

The Saints have played six playoff games on the road in franchise history, and they have never won one. The Eagles defense is pretty bad, but can the Saints take full advantage of it? They are not good outside that dome, so we'll see what they can put together.

The NFC divisional round matchups will get cleared up with this matchup. If the Eagles win, they'll go to Carolina to face the Panthers. If the Saints win, they'll go to Seattle to face the Seahawks. That means the winner of 49ers-Packers goes to the other team, whomever that might be.

I wonder if tonight's game will be as good as this afternoon?
