SB Nation 2014 NFL Playoff Coverage

The San Francisco 49ers and Green Bay Packers released their inactives, and as expected, cornerback Carlos Rogers is inactive for this Wild Card round game. Rogers strained his hamstring last Sunday against the Cardinals, and was unable to practice all week. The field conditions are looking fairly miserable, so this is even less of a surprise. This is the first time he will have sat out a game with the 49ers.

Eric Wright is active for the game. He suffered some kind of hamstring tweak on Thursday, but he was back at practice Friday. He will serve as the nickel corner, although some of the beat writers expect him to split snaps with recently signed Perrish Cox. Tramaine Brock and Tarell Brown will get the starting nod when the 49ers are in their base defense.

The only other questionable player for this game was Dan Skuta. He is active, and will likely get some work with Corey Lemonier when the 49ers give Aldon Smith and/or Ahmad Brooks a breather.

49ers inactives: CB Carlos Rogers, TE Derek Carrier, LB Nick Moody, G Ryan Seymour, DT Quinton Dial, G Joe Looney and WR Jon Baldwin

Packers inactives: WR Chris Harper, QB Scott Tolzien, CB Jumal Rolle, LB Nate Palmer, LB Clay Matthews, G Lane Taylor, C/G JC Tretter
