Hey NN, great win today.
I don't want to be the one to look ahead too soon, but Carolina could potentially be the hardest game of the season. The first thing that strikes me is that they are playing well together. It's not that they're playing the best football in the league, but rather they are gelling together very well. In other words, they're hot at the right time. I'd like to imagine that the Niners are in a similar situation heading into their house next week.
The most contreversial thing for me is their front seven group. Last time we played, they completely demolished our offensive line and did not give Kap much time to make a play with his arm or his legs. Hopefully this week, pass blocking will be greatly improved.
Lastly, at the time we played Carolina early in the season, they had the number one defense against the run, and we had the number one run offense. They seemed to have one that battle and stopped our offensive production significantly. Hopefully this time with Crab and VD being healthy in the game, they won't be able to stack the box.
These are my concerns for next week, what do you guys thing? This team is a mirror image of the Niners with a less offensive talent, but with similar offensive results. Hopefully everything all be used to maximize the skill sets of all the players.
