Carlos Rogers sits out another practice, Demarcus Dobbs limited

The San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers released their Thursday practice participation reports, and there are no new surprises. Carlos Rogers remains listed as a DNP in practice, which does not bode well for his chances to play on Sunday. He has one more day of practice in which he could return, but his comments at practice give us some insight:

If the 49ers can beat the Panthers, I could see him pushing to play against the Seattle Seahawks (assuming they beat the New Orleans Saints). The Super Bowl is obviously "bigger" but there is something to be said for beating the Seahawks in the NFC title game. And if he blew out the hamstring in that game, such is life I suppose. Of course, this all requires the 49ers to first win this Sunday!

Demarcus Dobbs improved to limited participation in practice. I suspect we see him listed as questionable on Friday, but playing on Sunday. Other than Dobbs, everybody else was a full participant on Thursday.
