Is it time Michael Crabtree got demoted?

Eric Branch wrote a though provoking article over at the 49ers Insider Blog entitled More Snaps For Stevie? Johnson has made case for larger role.

During pre-season we got tidbits of info to the effect that Crabtree looked good, that he had more burst, that he had trimmed some weight off to get lighter and quicker, that he was fully back from the achilles injury that sidelined him for most of last season and we all salivated at the prospect of having a fully healthy Crabtree working the field along with Anquan Boldin and Vernon Davis. How would defenses possibly cover all three? Surely they couldn't! Surely one of them would be single covered and we would capitalize in a fashion here-to-fore unseen.

The other factors which add to the complexity of our dilemma, is that during the off-season we acquired two other receivers that we knew could very well turn out to be excellent performers in Stevie Johnson and Brandon Lloyd. Stevie Johnson has put up some good numbers in light of the relative sparse playing time and targets. Numbers, that in fact draw into question whether his playing time should be increased at the expense of Michael Crabtree's. I therefore present the following poll:
