I've somewhat gotten over the Championship loss to the seahocks. I have tremendous optimism about the 49ers future, particularly with Kaep as our QB of the present and future. I would love to see the front office emulate Bill Walsh and bring in a few "impact" free agent veterans. Bill acquired Fred Dean, Hacksaw Reynolds, Russ Francis, Ricky Jackson, Chris Doleman, Gary "Big Hands" Johnson, and others I can't remember right now. Also, I always felt that Dallas was special in the mid nineties because of their DOMINATING offensive line. Yes, I love to watch a great D-line, but that O-line of Dallas' was able to "control" games. Alright, now for my part in defeating the seahocks today. Everytime I have watched the hocks this season, they have won. Even the Tampa Bay game, that I started watching after they were WAY behind. I thought that would be fun to watch them lose. Wrong. I was on the road and didn't get to see the 49ers beat them at Candlestick. So, I am not watching the Super Bowl. My wife and neighbor think its a bit egocentric of me to think that I could actually influence events in this way. I don't understand it myself, but what choice do I have? So, for the field dulls, when you're licking your wounds after the game, it wasn't the refs, IT WAS ME!!!!
