Whitner is gone... Time to get Darrelle Revis

Looks like Donte Whitner is officially gone and we’re signing Antione Bethea. So if the Bucs release Darrelle Revis, we should go after him. We currently have $15-$16 million dollars in cap and Revis should take up anywhere from $10-$13 million (hopefully). We just signed Dawson and we will still have a little room after that. Hearing speculation on a LMJ trade and a Iupati trade would most likely give us more draft picks, but I would like to keep both of them.
Now, looking onto the draft, we should draft a safety for good value. We have 2 second round picks. I believe our first 3 picks should go WR, CB, Safety (no particular order). Jimmie Ward or a Deone Buccanon come to mind in the second round. Both are good safeties with good value. They can both be molded in and learn during the year. We would still be able to pick a WR and Corner in the earlier parts of the draft as well. Revis will be a year off the ACL, so nothing will hold him back, I would expect him to take back his undisputed best DB crown. With Revis back to his old self, he would cut off half of the field so the safeties would have less to worry about anyways. With big time extensions coming up for next season, and drafting CB’s in the draft, we could play the year (win the SB), release Revis and have younger CBs (from draft) molded and ready for the 2016 season
