NFL Draft results 2014: 49ers draft DE Kaleb Ramsey and Trey Millard with 7th round picks

Liz Condo-USA TODAY Sports

The San Francisco 49ers wrapped up the 2014 NFL Draft with a pair of seventh round picks. The team selected Boston College defensive end Kaleb Ramsey with pick No. 243, and Oklahoma fullback Trey Millard with pick No. 245. The 49ers close out the 2014 draft with 12 players.

Here are some quick NFL.com thoughts on Ramsey:

A sixth-year senior, Ramsey has the physical tools to serve in a rotational role as an aggressive five-technique or 4-3 left end, though his injury history and long-term durability concerns limit his value and could scare teams off.

Here are some quick NFL.com thoughts on Millard:

A versatile jack-of-all-trades, Milllard brings the most value as a core special-teams contributor. Is best suited for a role as a fullback in a matchup-based offense where he could fill a variety of roles. Has been very reliable and durable throughout his career, but late October ACL injury could still require some rehabilitation as a rookie and could affect his draft standing.

The 49ers now head into undrafted free agency with four roster spots to fill. I can't remember a time when the 49ers were going to be signing so few UDFAs.

1. First round: Jimmie Ward, S, Northern Illinois
2. Second round: Carlos Hyde, RB, Ohio State
3. Third round: Marcus Martin, C/OG, USC
4. Third round: Chris Borland, ILB, Wisconsin

5. Third round: Brandon Thomas, OG, Clemson
6. Fourth round: Bruce Ellington, WR, South Carolina

7. Fourth round: Dontae Johnson, DB, NC State
8. Fifth round: Aaron Lynch, DE/OLB, South Florida
9. Fifth round: Keith Reaser, CB, Florida Atlantic
10. Sixth round: Kenneth Acker, CB, Southern Methodist
11. Seventh round: Kaleb Ramsey, DE, Boston College
12. Seventh round: Trey Millard, FB, Oklahoma
