I am realism, and I live in Switzerland. After 5 years of following the NFL online, watching countless games via NFL Gamepass, this next season I can finally attend a game in real.
After checking my travel plans as well as the NFL schedule, this game is the 49ers home opener. Now, I have a couple of questions with regard to that:
1) Where should I buy tickets? What prices do I have to pay? I realize this is the home opener and tickets are probably hard to get. Checking online I found several pages, where I can buy tickets from ticketholders ranging from 200 dollars upwards for the places up highest. However, according to NFL.com there seem to be no box office tickets available. Is this because they are already sold out, or are there tickets for non season ticket holders that will be available later on?
2) Are there any sections where me and my girlfriend, as tourist fans are not that welcome? I dont really know how this is handled in NFL stadiums, but here in Europe, soccer stadiums have some few sections where all the hardcore fans are, where it is generally not that recommended to sit as an "outsider".
3) Are there any other things I should take into account, when purchasing tickets?
Thanks for your answers.
