The San Francisco 49ers and Levi's Stadium announced on Tuesday that they will play host to an international soccer match on September 6, featuring Mexico and Chile. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. PT, and there will be approximately 70,000 tickets available. This will be the second soccer matchup, following the San Jose Earthquakes-Seattle Sounders FC matchup that opens the stadium. There will be approximately 40,000-45,000 tickets sold for that match.
Tickets for Mexico-Chile will range in price from $34-$129. Tickets will first go on sale via pre-sale to 49ers SBL holders, and San Jose Earthquakes season ticket holders. There is no word yet on when the pre-sale or regular ticket sales will begin. You can keep an eye on it at Ticketmaster. The Ticketmaster page mentions 2 VIP packages. The most expensive one will be $379, per Mike Rosenberg. It's expensive, but has some cool options:

This marks yet another big event coming to the 49ers new stadium. They'll have Oregon and Cal squaring off in October, the Pac-12 title game, will take place there the next three years, the former Emerald/Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl later this year, Wrestlemania 31 next spring, Super Bowl 50 the following year, and in between there will be plenty of big time 49ers games. Levi's Stadium has also pitched for the new college football playoffs, but lost out on the first go-around. Additionally, the next time the United States bids on the World Cup, it is safe to say Levi's Stadium will be part of the plan.
