10 Ways to Improve the Offense.

1. Consider time outs to be precious, and saved until the last 2 minutes of each half.

2. Run the No huddle with quick snaps. This will eliminate DOG penalties. It can catch the other team off guard. It will prevent substitutions. It will help create mismatches. It will allow the Niners to have at least 2 more sets of downs for 2 more scoring opportunities.

3 Line up in a standard set and either run or pass out of it. Do more RO. Throw in a few pistol plays. keep the defense guessing.

4. Put a man in motion. MIM will have the advantage of being at full stride at the snap of the ball. MIM can run sweeps and reverses. or pinch in the DE so Kaep may roll out. Watch Montana use MIM during The Drive in the SB.

5. Accentuate Kaep's strengths and disguise his weaknesses. Utilize his mobility to get first downs and avoid sacks. Tell him to stop worrying about winning and losing, just set the goal of scoring at least 7 times per game.

6. Invite the blitz, and counter it with screens and quick passes. Practice. Practice. Practice.

7.Take a page out of the Bill Walsh playbook and script the first 15 plays. Have contingency plan for any defense.

8. Do not run into the teeth of the defense. Attack their weaknesses. Line up deep in the I, and let the RB pick the hole to run through.

9. Resort to trickeration. Use fakes, flea flickers. misdirections and reverses, even hook and lateral once in a blue moon.
