Taylor Price's tweet succinctly sums up the most important part of the San Francisco 49ers minicamp and OTAs. I was going to wait until tomorrow just in case any news slipped out late, but I suppose a 49ers.com writer would not be so casual in writing about significant injury news.
We'll be doing plenty of analysis of the roster in light of the offseason workout program. We only learn so much from practices in shorts and helmets. Knowing the team did not suffer any devastating injuries is a huge positive. There were some injuries, but they all seem fairly minor. Aaron Lynch was the most notable, sitting out team drills the entire time due to a hamstring injury. Aldon Smith suffered a foot injury and sat out most of minicamp. Tramaine Brock and Shareece Wright dealt with some leg injuries described as minor, and Brock was back in team drills this week.
All in all, I can live with that kind of stuff. The workout program has now come to a close, which means we begin the interminable wait for training camp. The 49ers rookies have a couple more weeks at the facility, but those will generally be closed to the media. Next up, training camp.
