NFL Network is in the midst of announcing their Top 100 list for 2015, a list that they say is voted on by players. I say "they say" because a lot of players have said they never voted for the list.
Although they are still only midway through announcing the Top 100, NFL Network announced on Wednesday that no 49ers will appear on the list. It is always disappointing when quality players do not get the recognition they deserve. Joe Staley has been a consistently strong offensive lineman, and will be a key to the 2015 season. If the 49ers can stay healthy, there is a very good chance NaVorro Bowman could end up back on the list next season. And if he stays out of trouble, Aldon Smith could as well.
All that being said, we also know this is just offseason discussion fodder. In turn, I let NFL Network know how I felt (although I am writing about it, so I suppose they win after all).
