San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick had a busy Monday, hosting his third annual golf tournament to raise money for Camp Taylor. We've discussed Camp Taylor plenty of times. They are a camp for kids with heart defects, providing them with a chance to enjoy a fun camp experience in spite of their health issues. Kids with heart defects have a variety of physical limitations, and Camp Taylor addresses that to help the kids be able to enjoy the simple pleasures of being a kid.
Kap has raised and donated a lot to Camp Taylor. It turns out, in the first two years of this fundraiser, Kap has raised over $500,000 for the camp. This does not count the time he has donated to the camp, as well as his own personal donations. You can learn more about why Kap does it HERE, and check out some pictures HERE.
Kap has slowly gotten more and more publicity for his fundraising efforts. Local media had coverage on it, but it looks like other eyes are catching up with it.
Not going to get as much press as it should, but Colin Kaepernick's ( @Kaepernick7 ) Camp Taylor has raised $500K for pediatric cardiology.

Cam Inman and Mindi Bach were both on hand for the event. Inman had a variety of quotations HERE. Here are some pictures and video from the fundraiser:
