The San Francisco 49ers will make roster cuts on Friday and Saturday, and Jarryd Hayne continues to make it darn near impossible to not include him on the 53-man roster. Hayne had a couple big games to open the preseason, and was moderately quiet in the third game against the Denver Broncos. However, he put on another show in the preseason finale. Hayne finished the game with ten rushes for 58 yards, two receptions for 17 yards, a tackle as a punt coverage gunner, and three punt returns for 43 yards.
This 19-yard run by Hayne is his best rushing attempt of the preseason. He has run for more yards, but that has generally been outside the tackles, with some great blocking in place. However, in this run, we see Hayne with a great cut and using some impressive vision to get through the hole. It's a fantastic piece of running.
The body control. The balance. The jab step. Jarryd Hayne is just showing off now. #49ers https://t.co/3QjV5KkRqS

Shortly after that run, Hayne had his great play. He caught a pass and got outside, when he met Chargers cornerback Lowell Rose. Hayne lowers his shoulder and knocks Rose on his butt.
Oh. That's just former Rugby League star @jarrydhayne_1, turning NFL defenders into pancakes. #SDvsSF http://t.co/sObSmoGhX9
