The NFL closes out Week 11 with a potentially fun Monday Night Football contest. The Oakland Raiders host the Houston Texans in a potential AFC playoff preview. The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. PT on ESPN, with Sean McDonough, Jon Gruden, and Lisa Salters calling the game.
The Raiders currently lead the AFC West at 7-2, a half game up on the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos in the AFC West. The Raiders have won three straight, including road wins over the Jaguars and Buccaneers, and a home win over the Broncos. The Raiders were improved last year, but they seem to really be taking a big step forward.
The Texans are 6-3, and a game and a half up on the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC South. They are coming off consecutive wins at home against the Lions and on the road against the Jaguars. The Colts and Titans are hanging around behind Houston in the division, but it just seems like Houston will get nine or ten wins and call it a day.
The Raiders are a six-point favorite in this one. I’ve got the Texans covering, but I am not overly confident in the pick. I do think this will be a fairly close game.
