Happy New Year, and welcome to the final Sunday of the 2016 regular season. The San Francisco 49ers get going at 1:25 p.m. PT, in what is expected to be Chip Kelly and Trent Baalke’s last game in their current positions. In the meantime, there are two notable games to watch in the AM schedule.
The Cleveland Browns are on the road facing the Pittsburgh Steelers. If Cleveland wins and the 49ers lose later today, San Francisco gets the No. 1 pick. If the Browns lose or the 49ers win, the Browns get the No. 1 pick. Go Browns!
The Indianapolis Colts host the Jacksonville Jaguars as well, this morning. Frank Gore sits at 963 rushing yards, and with 37 more yards he would become the oldest running back since John Riggins to surpass 1,000 yards. We’re rooting for a Jaguars win, but hopefully Gore can have a big game.
