Another day has passed, and Jim Harbaugh has made more inflammatory statements about San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York and former general manager Trent Baalke. This time, Harbaugh said that Baalke and York couldn’t combine “what they know” to “blow up a small balloon.”
I imagine some people are upset about this. Some people probably are wondering why Harbaugh is still talking about this stuff. I personally love it, because the 49ers deserve it. Harbaugh is brash and abrasive in general, but he was a great coach and the 49ers screwed him over several times. I want him to keep talking, and hopefully more people will listen.
Of course, Harbaugh has an axe to grind. But I personally don’t believe that makes his statements anything other than what they are: totally true. It sucks, but it’s the position the 49ers were in and are in still. Until York proves otherwise, he’s a bad presence in the front office.
