The 2017 NFL free agency period is less than two weeks old, but for the most part, it is finished. There will be plenty of veteran signings, including some moves involving Jay Cutler and Colin Kaepernick, but by and large, most teams are finished making moves of significance.
The San Francisco 49ers got most of their business done the first few days of the period, and then added Dekoda Watson this past weekend. With that signing, the 49ers have 15 unrestricted free agent additions, one trade acquisition, and two of their own free agents re-signed this offseason.
The 49ers might add another free agent or two, but now it is time to consider how you would grade the 49ers offseason to date. I want you to consider all 18 transactions in assessing this on a scale of 1-to-10. I’ve posted a poll down below, but first here is a list of the 15 additions and two returning contracts. I’ll drop my thoughts into the comments.
