Continuing on with our third week of Scouting 49ers Scouts - pro day edition, we move on to March 22nd workouts, where a few notable prospects impressed yesterday in front of 49ers' scouts. Keep in mind, although it's unlikely to track every pro day (16 scheduled yesterday) representatives from the 49ers will/have attend(ed) throughout the process, we will pass along those visits the team has been reported to be represented.
On Wednesday, March 22nd, scouts for the 49ers attended pro days at Duquesne, Pitt, and USC.
Duquesne
49ers Regional Scout Tariq Ahmad (seen in video below) was in attendance at Duquesne's pro day. Out of the dozen of prospects working out yesterday, there were two notable players that are likely late Day 3/priority undrafted free agent selections in QB Dillon Buechel and OT Larson Graham.
Dillon Buechel performed well in positional drills, only overthrowing a receiver once in the red zone.
According to Jacob Klinger of the Penn Live, Larson Graham had a one-on-one workout with Tariq Ahmad for about 15 minutes. Graham was asked to line up as center, since his 6-foot-5, 291 pound frame will likely force him inside at the next level. Yesterday, Fooch wrote an article about the tackle to center workout.

Pitt
After the completion of Duquesne's early morning pro day, 49ers Regional Scout Tariq Ahmad (seen in upper right picture below) made the hop, skip, and the jump over to Pitt's pro day. Several draft-eligible prospects were on hand vying for the attention of scouts, and the following players are the ones to keep an eye on: RB James Conner, TE Scott Orndoff, OT Adam Bisnowaty, OG Dorian Johnson, and DE/OLB Ejuan Price. However, one player stands above the rest as the one to watch: QB Nathan Peterman.

Nathan Peterman stood on his NFL Scouting Combine numbers, but according to Gil Brandt, Peterman performed well in positional drills showing a good but not great arm. Nevertheless, he's extremely smart and makes good decisions.
Peterman found success operating in a pro-style scheme at Pitt, and although he has a decent/fair combination of size (6-foot-2), mobility, and arm strength, it's his smarts, efficiency, toughness, and solid decision making that makes him thrive at what he does. He's a technically sound passer with a tight and compact delivery and enough arm talent to make all NFL level throws. Peterman shows great poise in the pocket keeping his eyes downfield with efficient adjustments to movement within the pocket with a great feel for pressure scanning the entire field (terrific field awareness). He throws with nice anticipation and touch, but ball placement is inconsistent. Coming from a pro-style system, he brings experience working under center and checks the box with the three, five, and seven step drops. He gets the Kirk Cousins vibe, so he's a prospect that may find his way onto Kyle Shanahan's radar.
USC
Niners Nation's Jennifer Lee Chan was on hand at USC's pro day. She mentioned Western Regional Scout Reggie Cobb was in attendance representing the 49ers.
