Browns TE Winslow hospitalized

Sports Network | October 10, 2008

Berea, OH (Sports Network) - Cleveland Browns starting tight end Kellen Winslow was hospitalized Thursday night with an undisclosed illness, head coach Romeo Crennel stated on Friday.

Winslow, who missed Thursday's practice, is expected to be released from the hospital on Friday. He will be listed as questionable for Monday night's tilt against the New York Giants.

"He's truly 50/50," said Crennel. "Hopefully he'll be there. We should know more in the next couple of days."

The Miami-Florida product has recorded 19 receptions for 170 yards and a touchdown thus far for 1-3 Cleveland.
