Week 9 Prediction Games

While I'm sure Raiders fans want to see their team, I'm guessing most of us are hoping they're blacked out so we can see the Patriots-Colts game.  Or maybe that's just me.

49ers @ Atlanta - Sunday, 10am PST/1pm PST

Baltimore @ Pittsburgh - MNF

Dallas @ Philadelphia - SNF

New England @ Indianapolis - Sunday 1:15pm PST/4:15pm EST

Houston @ Oakland - Sunday 1:15pm PST/4:15pm EST

Jacksonville @ New Orleans - Sunday 10:00am PST/1:00pm EST

if raider fans
really wanted to see their "team" they could go to the yard.

If you owned a football team.  And they weren't going to sell out a game.  Why not just lower the prices to like, half off in the 2 hours before the blackout deadline and see if you can get'er done.

Reason
One reason I can think of is that everyone would wait until 2 hours before to buy tickets so they could get them half off.  At least the smart ones would, so I guess if we're talking about the Raiders it wouldn't be much of an issue for ownership, they should do that.

here we go...
49ers @ Atlanta - SF 20-9

Baltimore @ Pittsburgh - Pitt 24-13

Dallas @ Philadelphia - Dallas 31-17

New England @ Indianapolis - NE 45-34

Houston @ Oakland - Houston 14-10

Jacksonville @ New Orleans - NO 27-19

Niners have to win sometime right? Why not this week, after two subpar weeks, the D steps up big against a bad offense and the Niners win. Pitt is bad ass at home, they win, Dallas is too much for the Eagles, New England and Indy should be great and I can only hope that the Colts knock off the Cheatriots so that everyone I work with can shut up but I dont see it happening, New Orleans keep rolling after an awful start and finally, Houston get back on track with a win at Oakland.

GO NINERS!! Salvage the season and win a freakin game!!!

the winning picks
49ers 16 @ Atlanta 14 - At least Alex Smith isn't in jail for killing dogs. This is a must-win for the 49ers and Atlanta is awful. 49ers in a squeaker.

Baltimore 6 @ Pittsburgh 27  - Should be a good defensive battle...for awhile.

Dallas 27 @ Philadelphia 20 - There's something about NFC East football that I like.

New England 35 @ Indianapolis 21 - Patriots are favored by 5.5 to 6.5 AT the defending champs, who are better than last year. But, no Marvin Harrison and the Patriots are unstoppable.

Houston 14 @ Oakland 20 - Dear Raider Fans..hello? Anyone there? Well, if there are some of you out there, thanks for not selling out so we can watch "the good game."

Jacksonville 24 @ New Orleans 27  - Saints look like the real deal again, but they were playing the 49ers so it may be an illusion. Still. They'll have enough offense to take this one.

ftw
My informed picks got me nowhere last week, so this week the strategy is allegiance and spite!

49ers @ Atlanta - 20-7

Baltimore @ Pittsburgh - 16-37

Dallas @ Philadelphia - 28-33

New England @ Indianapolis - 27-38

Houston @ Oakland - 20-12

Jacksonville @ New Orleans - 13-20

Baltimore's just not very good. Recognize that score, anybody? Suck it Dallas! I know I said the Pats wouldn't lose to the Colts, but I'd prefer it if they did so I'll pick that one. Also, glad to swing the upset pick. It's called good gambling, people. Insofar as good gambling means "picking the one I like best." Oakland is going nowhere with the rusty trombone that is Jake McCown back at the helm. Finally, I still don't believe in the Saints, but I really don't believe in the Jags. I have no good reason not to believe in the Jags. I just don't. Win defers to the home team.

And once again, Suck it Dallas!

Hmmm.
Maybe it's my fault this team is losing games it should win.  I think I'm going to stop predicting these 49ers blowouts.
