I imagine some people will be happy with this turn of events, I know I am (at the very least, those insane/unfounded rumors that the Niners were interested don't come true). However, I am a bit irked that ESPN is going to hire him to be a sportscaster. One sentence in particular pissed me off:
"Last month, Johnson worked the NFL draft for ESPN, which was impressed enough to offer him a job."
Maybe ESPN was watching different coverage and confused him with someone else. Personally, I thought he was garbage. Except for the part where he foretold his own job termination but was still to dumb to realize what he just said. That part was fantastic.
