During his press conference (and backed up by Twitter), Coach Gary Kubiak announced that the Texans have cut CB Fred Bennett, WR London Crawford, and DE Pannel Egboh to get down to the NFL's mandated 75.

According to Andy Simms, free agent DE Raheem Brock is visiting the Texans tomorrow. Leverage move for Aaron Schobel or genuine interest by the Texans? h/t EveryHoustonTeamRox! UPDATE: In other free agency news, National Football Post is reporting that the Texans (along with the Chiefs and Saints) are interested in DT Kendrick Clancy. UPDATE #2: According to Nick Scurfield's blog, the Texans worked out Brock, Dewayne White, and a third DE (some Tweets suggest it was James Wyche). Before anyone goes into Chicken Little mode, this was not done with any regards to Mario Williams and his hip issue as he upped his practice participation this morning. Scurfield says that Tim Bulman has a shoulder injury and won't be back any time soon.
