Bronson Arroyo: Bad andro may be cause

In this article, Bronson admits to the use of both Andro (which he loved as a workout enhancer) and Amphetamines (which he's since replaced with caffeine and ginseng) during the time both were still legal in baseball. He says that he stopped taking Andro because he heard through the grapevine that, because of lax production standards, some andro was laced with known steroids, such as Winstrol." He also surmises that David Ortiz' positive test may be related to such an instance. Ortiz has admitted to the use of products actuired in the Dominican, where regulation standards are much less stringent than here.
