Interviews have begun

New, comment

And so the process begins.  It appears Donnie Henderson will be interviewing for the vacant defensive coordinator position.

Additionally, Jim Tomsula will be interviewing for the vacant defensive line coaching position.  Tomsula is a veteran coach who's primary claim to fame is extensive coaching experience in NFL Europe.  Most importantly is that in 2004, he was inducted into The Cheddar Hall of Fame..  So take that for what it's worth.  At the very least the article has a nice history of Tomsula.

Finally, Al Everest interviewed Friday for the special teams coordinator spot vacated by Larry Mac Duff.

So there you have it.  Plenty of action as we bide our team until the end of the playoffs and then free agency.  We'll see what Mike Nolan can do in putting together a coaching staff that's all his.
