Oh Primetime (More Michael Vick fun times)

I'll state right off the bat that everyone is entitled to their opinions.  However, sometimes it pays to listen to the little voice in your head that tells you when to not say certain things...especially when it's appearing in a newspaper.  Thanks to AOL's Fan House, via Deadspin, we get to hear Deion Sander's take on this whole dog-fighting situation and indictment.

This is all the result of perspective. What a dog means to Vick might be a lot different than what he means to you or I. Hold on, don't start shaking your head just yet. Listen to me. Some people kiss their dogs on the mouth. Some people let their dogs eat from their plate. Some people dress their dogs in suits more expensive than mine, if you can believe that.

And some people enjoy proving they have the biggest, toughest dog on the street. You're probably not going to believe this, but I bet Vick loves the dogs that were the biggest and the baddest. Maybe, he identified with them in some way.

Things are ratcheting up with Michael Vick due in court in the next hour or so, so I wonder if Deion is looking for a little publicity?  What other reason do you have to publicly say this kind of thing?  Maybe he's wired a little differently than most sane individuals.

And barring Michael Vick declaring his guilt and being hauled off to prison (or being released by the Falcons), I don't plan on discussing this much more.  Of course if more batshit, crazy former football players comment on the case, you can damn sure bet you'll hear it here.
