Lost in the commotion apparently is word that the 49ers also fired their offensive line coach George Warhop. Assistant offensive line coach Chris Foerster will take over as offensive line coach.
I don't know if this will mean dramatic changes on the offensive line, but again, sometimes change is necessary for changes sake. The offensive line has shown the ability to be good, but has been wildly inconsistent this season.
