Week 8 Prediction Contest - If you forgot to pick any of the games, you can always just predict the later ones to get any points you can. If you miss all of today's you can just pick MNF if you want.

Injuries
49ers: Probable - FS Mark Roman, WR Josh Morgan, SS Michael Lewis, KR/CB Allen Rossum, CB Nate Clements; Out - OT Jonas Jennings, DE Ray McDonald, S Dashon Goldson

Seahawks: Probable - WR Koren Robinson, G Floyd Womack, LB Lofa Tatupu; Questionable - WR Deion Branch; Out - QB Matt Hasselbeck, TE Will Heller

And so the Mike Singletary era begins. I find it particularly fitting given that it's alumni day and they'll be rocking the 1980s throwbacks. This is not exactly the best test of where the 49ers are at given the Seahawks injuries and immense struggles. If they win they were supposed to win and if they lose, all hell could break loose. I'd just like a nice, solid, comfortable victory. No need for a blowout, but a win by 10+ points would really make life better going into the bye. Either way, it should make for an interesting Sunday.

EDITOR'S UPDATE 12:36PM: The 49ers have benched Adam Snyder and inserted David Baas into the starting lineup at left guard.

Inactives
49ers: Jamie Martin (third QB), CB Reggie Smith, S Dashon Goldson, LB Ahmad Brooks, C Cody Wallace, T Jonas Jennings, T Kirk Barton and DE Ray McDonald.

Seahawks: K Brandon Coutu, QB Matt Hasselbeck, CB Kevin Hobbs, G Mansfield Wrotto, WR Deion Branch, TE Will Heller, DE Baraka Atkins and DT Howard Green.

GO NINERS!
