The 49ers continue their proverbial "last stand" in an attempt to get back into the playoff picture. While the 49ers still need a lot of help, a win over the Eagles would certainly be a step in the right direction. While the team will need to step up on the field, they might have been given a rare gift with the kickoff time being pushed back 3 hours. The 49ers have struggled mightily when they are on the east coast kicking off at 10am pacific. The snow storm coming to town has moved them back to their favored west coast start time. I don't know if it'll be enough to overcome a strong Philly squad, but the 49ers will take any break they can get, right?
I'll be staying out of the game thread again this week. I realize it's an irrational belief in karma, but if it helps the 49ers win, I'll take it. The second game thread will post at 2:00pm and the third game thread will post at 3:15pm. I'll have the recap post shortly after the game.
GO NINERS!
