49ers Family Day this weekend

While OTAs are coming to a close, the 49ers preseason events are really kicking off.  This Saturday, June 13, the 49ers are hosting their 2009 Family Day at Candlestick Park from 10am until 2pm.  It sounds like there will be a lot of fun activities for fans and families alike:

  • Q&A with head coach Mike Singletary
  • Locker Room Tour
  • Autographs from past and present players
  • Youth football activities
  • Cheerleading clinic
  • Interactive Games
  • Live Music
  • Photo opportunities
  • Live and silent auctions
  • Football 101 sessions with 49ers alumni Gary Plummer are also available.

The first 500 youth 15 and under accompanied by a parent or adult who enter Family Day will win a pair of tickets to the 49ers first pre-season game against the Denver Broncos on August 14, 2009.  Parking is free to the public. Fans should enter Candlestick Park through stadium gate F.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend due to prior obligations, but it should be a ton of fun.  If you're able to go and get any photos of the event, we'd love to have you post them here and tell us about the day.
