49ers-Vikings Wednesday Injury Report

New, comments

The 49ers square off this Sunday with a Vikings squad that hasn't had too many major injury problems.  As this report shows, the biggest no show at practice was middle linebacker E.J. Henderson.  Adrian Peterson was limited, but I'd imagine he'll definitely be playing on Sunday.

Frank Gore was limited in practice because of his ankle, but again, I don't see him missing Sunday's game.  Brandon Jones is completely clear now of the injury report, although I'd imagine he's still working off the rust this week.  In his post-practice press conference, Singletary mentioned that Jones was day-to-day depending on the packages Jimmy Raye planned on utilizing this weekend.  Also, Ahmad Brooks was fully involved in practice.  He's another guy who has some rust to work off, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him inactive on Sunday.  Of course, given that this could turn into quite the defensive battle, maybe the 49ers will want all the defensive support they can muster.
