Now that the regular season has come to a close, it's time to start looking ahead to important dates that affect the 49ers. Various websites post important dates, but I suggest checking out the official calendar at NFL.com. And of course, you can always bookmark this particular page for the dates and any ensuing discussion.
January 30, 2010: 61st Annual Senior Bowl
Feb. 24-March 2: NFL Scouting Combine, Indianapolis, Ind.
March 5: Free Agency begins
March 21-24: NFL Annual Meeting, Orlando, Florida.
April 22-24: NFL Draft, New York City (4/22: 1st rd 4:30-8pm pacific; 4/23: 2nd-3rd rd 3:30-8pm; 4th-7th rd 7am-3pm)
4/30-5/2: 49ers rookie minicamp (This is an estimation as the rookie camp is usually the weekend after the draft)
June 8: If the 49ers collect 6,000 signatures by some point in January, the Santa Clara stadium initiative will appear on the ballot in a special election on this date.
As more dates are released (OTAs, start of training camp, etc.) I'll add them to this.
