Golden Nuggets: Importance And The Like

Getting closer to the most important game of the season, once again. Every game from here on out will be the most important game of the season, with divisional matchups being a fraction more most important. No, that doesn't make any sense, but I'll punch you right in the mouth if you point it out. Don't even act like I won't, because I've done it before. Anyway, I believe I'm going to this game as well and I'll try and get some pictures up of the tailgate. It will probably be my last Niner game in a very long time, don't know if I'll be in this area next year at this point either so, you know how that goes.

As far as tangible 49ers-related bits of writing, be sure to check out yesterday's Tweet-Bag from Tre9er, even if he was totally slacking when it came to it. I can't blame him, I've been less-than prominent here lately, and it's due to my business elsewhere, still ... if I can't blame and insult Tre, then I'm just not having a good time. Also, my girlie rocks, London Niner is laughably British and Fooch will soon be cast down into a pit of fire when I take over Niners Nation. Think that about brings things to the norm. Enjoy the linkage, children.

The Niners signed a kicker you folks should know about, and Singletary talked a bit about Chilo Rachal and his benching. All I know is: Adam Snyder has played better than Chilo every time he's got the chance to. Just sayin'. (Examiner.com)

Doubt Patrick Willis? He'll respond by being awesome, true story. (49ers.com)

Mike Johnson runs his offense a little differently. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it, but if we're winning, hey I'm fine with it, ya know? Do what you're doing and pick up some wins. (MercuryNews.com)

Ahh, Brian Jennings on KNBR, one of the greatest things in the world. I don't have time to listen to this right now, but it should be good stuff in the morning. (49ers.com)

Offensively, the ball is being spread around. I like that, but I also think it speaks to our lack of receiving playmakers. Crabtree needs to get this thing going, I must say. (Yahoo.com)

Here is Matt Maiocco's latest chat transcript, which is probably a good read. I can't confirm as I don't read these things. (CSNBayArea.com)

I hate this Brett Favre-Troy Smith talk. There's no comparison there, to me. (PressDemocrat.com)

Another day, another pretty good, young quarterback for the 49ers to take on. Let's go ahead and put this one on his back a few times, yeah? (PressDemocrat.com)

The offense has improved under Mike Johnson. It's the under-statement of the year, right next to "Ninjames rocks." (CSNBayArea.com)

Remember that Blount kid? Guy who didn't want to play here because he didn't want to compete? Yeah, dude's coming back to do some football or something like that. I don't know, I can't keep up with these people. (Yahoo.com)

Could be a wet game for Andrus. Oh well. (PressDemocrat.com)
