The San Francisco 49ers and San Diego Chargers released their final injury reports and both teams are fairly banged up heading into Thursday Night Football on the NFL Network. The Chargers will definitely be without Patrick Crayton and likely without Antonio Gates. Randy McMichael is a decent option at tight end, but he's no Antonio Gates. Of course the Chargers whipped up on the Chiefs without Gates, so we'll see how much of a difference it really makes. Additionally, two-thirds of their defensive line is listed as probable. Not likely a big deal, but something worth noting.
The biggest concern on the 49ers injury report is the questionable nature of both their inside linebackers, Patrick Willis and Takeo Spikes. They both suffered hand injuries last week against Seattle and have been in casts this week. After the jump I've posted some practice video from CSN Bay Area that shows the two of them working out with some serious casts. If this were a Sunday game I'd have virtually no worries about them playing. The short week however makes things a little tougher to call. I think they'll both be out there, but it sounds like they'll be game-time decisions.
After the jump we've got the full injury reports and some video of Patrick Willis and Takeo Spikes in casts at practice...
