The 49ers suddenly find themselves in a very precarious position. Alex Smith was stopped shy of a touchdown and then Anthony Dixon was stopped on 4th and goal on the six inch yard line. As if that wasn't bad enough, Justin Smith was subsequently ejected for pushing an NFL referee. The Chargers have since driven down and kicked a field goal to take a 10-0 lead. The 49ers need to get settle down if they want to stay in this game and really they just need to get some points on the board before the half. There's still a lot of football to play. Time to rally around the flag!
